About The Position

Dupray is seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Graphic Designer to lead our design team and elevate our brand identity. This key role involves creating brand guidelines, designing impactful marketing campaigns, and managing a creative team. The ideal candidate possesses deep design expertise, natural leadership abilities, and the capacity to transform strategic vision into outstanding creative execution.

Requirements

  • University degree and/or college diploma (DEC) in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
  • An outstanding portfolio demonstrating: Development of comprehensive brand systems or brand guidelines.
  • An outstanding portfolio demonstrating: Multi-channel marketing campaigns and advertising.
  • An outstanding portfolio demonstrating: A variety of creative styles and approaches.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in both agency and corporate environments.
  • Experience managing a creative team.
  • Experience creating brand guidelines from the ground up.
  • Proven track record of managing relationships with freelancers and external agencies.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Experience with Figma or other UI/UX design tools.
  • Knowledge of design principles for digital, print, and packaging applications.
  • Strong knowledge and extensive use of AI tools for creative development.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate creative decisions and strategic rationale.
  • Collaborative leadership style with the ability to mentor, inspire, and develop a team.
  • Strategic thinking with an understanding of how design supports business objectives.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to develop innovative solutions under constraints.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Positive and professional attitude that contributes constructive energy to the team.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • French and English language proficiency.

  • Experience with consumer goods or retail brands (an asset).

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain brand standards across all touchpoints (digital, print, packaging, retail).
  • Contribute to defining the creative vision and ensure consistency of the visual identity across all projects.
  • Develop innovative creative concepts and create visual assets that support marketing and business objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing Director to ensure alignment between creative and marketing strategies.
  • Manage and mentor the in-house graphic designer.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Manage relationships with freelance designers and external creative agencies.
  • Oversee project timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Present creative concepts to stakeholders, including marketing leadership and executive management.
