About The Position

Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions is seeking a Senior Grant Administrator and Project Manager to join the Mid-Atlantic Water Group. This role offers potential for development in a great working environment and the opportunity to help clients secure grant money for challenging problems. Typical projects include floodplain management, stormwater modeling and management, dam and levee rehabilitation, and watershed planning for local, state, and federal clients. Remote work is an option, but candidates within commuting distance to DC or Philadelphia offices are preferred.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• 15+ years of experience in professional grant consulting services, including research, tracking, and identification of federal, state, local, and private grant programs; grant writing; project budget preparation; grant administration; and grant workshop facilitation
• 5+ years of experience working as a project/ proposal manager
• Thorough understanding of and ability to implement industry best practices and Proposals/Marketing techniques
• Strategic creative thinker with the ability to “think outside the box”
• Proven team player, capable of leading and motivating the proposals team
• Must work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Responsibilities

• Managing grant and contract proposal preparation.
• Overseeing fiscal process review and budget development.
• Managing effort, closeout, and reporting.
• Maintaining grant management tracking systems for multiple local clients and municipalities.
• Managing projects to ensure completion according to time, budget, and technical requirements.
• Developing client and business opportunity tracking.
• Writing and coordinating responses to RFPs/RFQs/RFIs.
• Developing ancillary marketing materials.
• Identifying potential clients.
