About The Position

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. AWS’ Infrastructure Supply Chain & Procurement organization works to deliver cutting-edge solutions to source, build and maintain our socially responsible data center supply chains. We are a team of highly-motivated, engaged, and responsive professionals who enable the core sustainable infrastructure of AWS. We are seeking a highly effective supply chain professional to manage one of Amazon’s highest spend commodities - AWS inhouse design product. In this role, the candidate will manage a semiconductor supply chain with multiple products in close collaboration with both internal and external cross functional teams. These qualifications are critical to help enable AWS’s AIS team achieve continuity of supply and cost goals.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of program, project or product management, or leading product implementation experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in data analysis using tools such as Excel, Pivot Tables, SQL, Tableau, or equivalent
  • Experience in high-volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments
  • Experience in global supply chain management, managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced consumer electronics product company
  • Experience in program, project or product management, or leading product implementation

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in data centers, infrastructure service providers, or related technology companies
  • Experience in procurement practices working with engineering, supply chain and Tier 1 OEM partners
  • Experience creating an innovative global supply strategy for the organization resulting in a tangible benefit to the business

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key member of the AWS Infrastructure supply chain team in helping to define and deliver complex supply chain strategies.
  • Design, develop and maintain scalable and reliable analytical tools, dashboards, and metrics that drive key decisions and resource prioritization.
  • Understand the technical requirements of our partners and work closely with the internal technical teams to guide the direction of activities that will impact our supply chain.
  • Produce written recommendations and insights for key stakeholders to help shape solution design.
  • Handle multiple projects at once, deal with ambiguity and rapidly-changing priorities.
  • Design, develop and maintain scalable and reliable analytical tools, dashboards, and metrics that drive key decisions and resource prioritization.
  • Think through the mitigation plan if facing any supply issue and proactively communicate the supply impact to stakeholders.
