About The Position

Amprius Technologies is seeking a Senior Global Supply Manager to oversee contract and toll manufacturing partners and manage the landed cost of their cells. This role involves managing day-to-day relationships with contract manufacturers (CMs), qualifying new partners, negotiating agreements, and driving cost roadmaps and reduction initiatives to enhance product competitiveness. The position reports to the Head of Supply Chain.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, business, or a related field.
• 8+ years in sourcing or supplier management, with at least 4 years managing contract manufacturers.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience in drafting manufacturing or supply agreements.
• Experience building should-cost and landed cost models, including tariffs and duties.
• Willingness to travel internationally regularly (up to 35%), primarily to CM sites in Asia.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in lithium-ion cell or battery manufacturing, or other process-heavy manufacturing (semiconductors, displays, chemicals).
• Experience with toll manufacturing or consignment models.
• Understanding of trade compliance, country-of-origin rules, and NDAA requirements.
• People-management experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the relationship and roadmap with each active CM, including quarterly business reviews.
• Lead sourcing, audits, sample builds, and production qualification for new CMs.
• Negotiate CM agreements covering pricing, capacity, schedules, and the business model.
• Track CM performance on cost, yield, and on-time delivery in collaboration with Quality and Commercial Operations.
• Own the landed cell cost model for every product, including CM costs, materials, freight, tariffs, and duties, updating it quarterly.
• Identify and lead cost-reduction projects with CMs and suppliers.
• Develop tariff and duty mitigation strategies with Finance, Legal, and logistics partners.
• Lead and develop a Global Supply Manager and a Cost Analyst.
• Provide backup support to the Head of Supply Chain on CM-related matters.
