About The Position

This position offers strategic oversight and direct leadership to a high-performing team of global supply managers, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement. The role involves developing, championing, and implementing long-term, visionary global purchasing and strategies that align with Ford's business objectives, future product roadmaps, and sustainability goals. The Senior Global Supply Chain Manager will strategically manage a large, complex portfolio of critical categories/commodities such as displays, switches, and accessories, focusing on cost optimization, risk mitigation, and building supply chain resilience and agility. The role also includes pioneering the development and implementation of advanced cost models, negotiation strategies, and forecasting techniques, as well as cultivating strategic supplier relationships at an executive level to drive innovation. Proactive identification, assessment, and mitigation of complex supply chain risks, including geopolitical, environmental, technological, and market volatility, are key responsibilities. Domestic and International Travel is required up to 30%.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or a related field.
• 4 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
• 4 years of experience with Advanced data analysis tools, including Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and macros) and Tableau.
• 4 years of experience with End-to-end procurement processes, including supplier identification, request for information (RFI) and request for quotation (RFQ) execution, bid evaluation, cost benchmarking, total landed cost modeling, and purchase order management.
• 4 years of experience with Contract negotiation and long-term supply agreements.
• 4 years of experience with Supplier development activities, including capability assessments, cost-reduction initiatives, supplier scorecards, and continuous improvement programs.
• 4 years of experience with Manufacturing processes, including injection molding, stamping, machining, die casting, and assembly.
• 4 years of experience with Leading cross-functional sourcing and industrialization projects using project management methodologies (Agile and Waterfall).
• 4 years of experience with Ability to conduct should-cost analysis and root cause analysis (RCA) for supply chain disruptions.
• 4 years of experience with Developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies related to supplier capacity, quality, and logistics.
• 4 years of experience with Conducting end-to-end development, cascade, maintenance and executive level reporting of critical L1/L2 KPIs for Design Material Cost.
• 4 years of experience with Leading system modernization workstreams and developing interactive dashboards including Qliksense and Power BI for clear data communication, enhanced transparency to provide improved data accessibility and driving efficiency for strategic initiatives.
• 3 years of experience with International trade regulations, customs clearance procedures, Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classification, country-of-origin requirements, and Incoterms (FOB, DDP, and EXW) for cross-border shipments.
