Requirements

  • 10+ years of geotechnical engineering experience.
  • Strong experience with geotechnical investigations, engineering analyses, foundation recommendations, and preparation/review of geotechnical reports.
  • Strong technical writing, QA/QC, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong communication and client management skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
  • Florida PE license.
  • Familiarity with Florida subsurface conditions and FDOT and other Florida agency requirements is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strong technical and project management support to the department.
  • Manage multiple geotechnical projects, including scope, schedule, budget, field investigations, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate directly with clients, contractors, field staff, laboratories, and other engineering disciplines.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and staff.
