About The Position

Prescient Edge is seeking a Senior Geospatial Research Analyst / Production Manager to support a Federal Government client. This role involves applying and leading geospatial analytics and all-source intelligence methodologies, as well as AI/ML, data quality, enrichment, and stewardship processes. The position requires solving complex geospatial and all-source intelligence analytic problems, developing data stewardship best practices, and collaborating with data providers and analysts to improve data access and curate regional pages. A working knowledge of Esri ArcGIS Enterprise systems and data steward tools is essential. The role also includes leading the production of geospatial intelligence products, overseeing quality assurance and metadata tagging, and managing workflow prioritization and production schedules to ensure timely delivery of reports, dashboards, and visualizations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years minimal experience creating geospatial analytic products in these fields of study or supporting DoD geospatial and all-source analysis and production, including supervising analysis, research, and production.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geospatial Science, GIS, Remote Sensing, Environmental Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics or a closely related field.
  • TS/SCI security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of Esri ArcGIS Enterprise systems and data steward tools, catalogs, techniques, and processes.
  • Certifications or training in Esri GIS or related technologies (e.g., ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS REST API), Python, R, JSON, HTML/XML, SQL, NoSQL, PostgreSQL, Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT), and All Source Intelligence analytic methodology are advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Solve and articulate complex geospatial and all source intelligence analytic problems.
  • Develop and oversee data stewardship techniques best practices.
  • Collaborate with other data providers and analysts to improve access to key data and lead the curation of country and regional pages in EDA.
  • Leverage the knowledge of peers to better understand analytic trends and initiatives.
  • Lead the production of geospatial intelligence products, ensuring alignment with analytical priorities and stakeholder requirements.
  • Oversee quality assurance and metadata tagging of geospatial layers, ensuring compliance with interoperability standards and governance policies.
  • Manage workflow prioritization and production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of geospatial reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
