As related to our Heavy Duty customer equipment, facilities or infrastructure projects: In this role you'll be responsible for project delivery, profit & loss accountability, and customer satisfaction through management of project related activities and resources. You'll Impact approaches, projects and programs in the functional area or affected business organization and ways of working. Impacts quality, efficiency and effectiveness of own team with a significant input into priorities. Guided by professional practices and policies that are shaped by the role. The role has moderate autonomy, requiring high levels of operational judgment. This role is responsible for overseeing the project and direct or indirect leadership and/or management of project resources for medium - large sized projects that may include equipment-only, suites of products or non-turnkey projects. The individual will develop specialized knowledge in their discipline, serve as a best practice/quality resource, and maintain awareness of the latest technical developments in their area. They will contribute towards strategy and policy development, ensuring delivery within their area of responsibility, and possess in-depth knowledge of best practices and how their area integrates with others, including working knowledge of competition and market differentiators. The role involves using judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in operational/product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering, taking new perspectives on existing solutions, and using technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Decisions will be informed by multiple internal and limited external sources outside of their own function. This position acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience, may lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements, and involves explaining difficult or sensitive information, working to build consensus, and developing persuasion skills to influence others on topics within their field.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 10 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s) and PMP licensed )
  • Min. 8 years of Project Management Experience in Power Generation
