This role is for a Senior Gaming Software Engineer focused on Console/Mobile development at Blizzard, part of Activision. The engineer will help shape core client systems and tools for a new multiplatform game project, working in a collaborative and creative environment. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges, improving development workflows, and building systems that scale across the full game development lifecycle, from early prototyping to live operations. The engineer will build and enhance core client systems and tooling that support scalable, performant, and responsive gameplay experiences, contribute to a new game project as part of a team focused on client foundations and technical excellence, and develop and improve client architecture for multiplatform gameplay across console and mobile environments. They will integrate SDKs and work with native client technologies such as C/C++, Java, Objective-C, or Swift, support build pipelines, asset bundling, asset loading, content patching, feature flags, and configuration systems, optimize client performance and help deliver polished, high-quality player-facing features, and partner closely with design, art, and engineering teams to bring ideas to life in a fast-moving development environment. Additionally, they will build tools and workflows that improve developer efficiency across the full production cycle.
