About The Position

This role is ideal for someone with hands-on consulting experience in Business Central who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys solving complex business challenges with technology. The Senior Functional Business Central Consultant will report to the Consulting Manager and will be a client-facing role focused on delivering end-to-end Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions. The consultant will act as a trusted advisor to clients, leveraging deep product knowledge and consulting experience to guide them through discovery, design, implementation, and post-go-live support.

Requirements

• 5+ years of consulting experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or NAV), including full-cycle implementations
• Proven ability to lead client engagements and deliver tailored solutions
• Strong understanding of Business Central modules such as Finance, Manufacturing, and Warehouse Management
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging executive stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client engagements
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada or the United States

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency in Microsoft technologies (e.g., Power BI, SQL Server, SharePoint) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions to understand client business processes, pain points, and goals
• Translate business requirements into tailored Business Central solutions
• Develop functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams on solution architecture
• Manage full-cycle Business Central implementations, including configuration, testing, training, and support
• Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with client objectives
• Provide post-implementation consulting and optimization services
• Support pre-sales efforts by participating in demos, scoping sessions, and proposal development
• Advise clients on best practices, industry trends, and Business Central capabilities
• Work closely with developers, project managers, and other consultants to ensure successful project delivery
• Troubleshoot issues and provide expert guidance on Business Central functionality

Benefits

• Total compensation for this role is $90,000 to $130,000, depending on years of comparable experience, skill set, and the unique value you bring.
• Occasional travel in Canada and the USA
