About The Position

Ten Mile Square Technologies is seeking a senior full-stack TypeScript software engineer with DevOps experience to join its team of product, technology, and software professionals. The initial assignment is developing a loan origination system for a financial services enterprise. The developer will work with experienced team leads and have opportunities to learn new technologies while refining core skills.

The role involves designing and building the system with Node, Apollo GraphQL, Angular, Camunda, and AWS components, including EKS, Lambda, S3, MSK, and Aurora. The work is primarily backend-focused, with some frontend development. The developer will work with technical leads and the product team to determine functional requirements, contribute to an Agile team, collaborate on development and knowledge sharing, represent Ten Mile Square with integrity and expertise, and maintain client confidentiality.

This is a full-time, remote position open to US-based candidates. It is not a C2C position, and visa sponsorship is unavailable. Compensation is listed as $161,000 per year, consisting of a $140,000 base salary and a standard $21,000 bonus at plan.

Requirements

• Five years of software development experience, including two years with TypeScript and Node.
• One year of experience working with GraphQL.
• One year of experience developing and deploying on AWS.
• Working knowledge of SQL.
• Working knowledge of Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Full application-stack development experience, from frontend to persistence.
• Experience participating in the full software lifecycle, from requirements through post-implementation.
• Linux command-line experience.
• Passion for the work.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and concepts quickly.
• Detail-oriented approach.
• High integrity and a strong work ethic focused on quality.
• Self-motivation and ability to proactively identify and solve problems.

Responsibilities
