About The Position
Join Manulife’s Derivatives Product Team as a Senior Full-Stack Engineer and help shape the future of trading, risk management, and AI-driven financial platforms. This role involves designing, developing, and supporting scalable, cloud-native applications that power critical business capabilities across trading, analytics, and risk management within the Capital Markets domain. The position is an existing vacancy.
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-stack software development experience
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Python
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, SQL Server, and Databricks
- Experience building and supporting enterprise CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of Capital Markets and financial derivatives (options, futures, forwards, and swaps)
- Experience integrating AI/ML or Generative AI solutions into enterprise applications
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
Nice To Haves
- Derivatives pricing and risk management expertise
- Experience with Bloomberg, Reuters, Murex, Findur, or Aladdin
- Azure OpenAI, OpenAI APIs, or enterprise copilot development experience
- Knowledge of Fixed Income products and markets

- Design and develop high-performance trading and risk management applications
- Build cloud-native solutions on Azure using modern engineering practices
- Integrate market data, analytics platforms, and AI-powered capabilities into trading workflows
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, and engineers to deliver strategic technology initiatives
