About The Position

Join a dynamic, forward-thinking engineering team as a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, building innovative cloud-native solutions for enterprise-scale applications. Work remotely from anywhere in the US (CST hours) while collaborating with product managers, UX designers, and fellow engineers to deliver impactful features and drive modernization efforts. This is a high-ownership, hands-on role with opportunities for professional growth and direct influence on technical direction.

Requirements

• 5+ years full stack software development (React, Python, Java, TypeScript).
• Proven experience with backend API/application development.
• Deep understanding of AWS serverless services (Lambda, S3, CloudFront, API Gateway, SQS, EventBridge).
• Proficient with React (functional components, hooks, context, state management).
• Strong command of Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Serverless Framework, AWS CloudFormation).
• Experience with cloud databases (DynamoDB, Snowflake) and build/deployment tools (Jenkins, Git, GitLab, CI/CD).
• Solid grounding in event-driven and service-oriented architectures.
• Agile development experience.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced experience with cloud database services (DynamoDB, Snowflake).
• Prior involvement in large-scale system migrations and modernization projects.
• Expertise in user analytics and A/B testing for product optimization.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and operate scalable full stack cloud applications using AWS serverless technologies.
• Create intuitive, high-performance UI interfaces with React, utilizing hooks, component composition, context, and state management.
• Write clean, maintainable code in Python, Java, TypeScript, and Node.js, following best practices.
• Define and manage application infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Serverless Framework, AWS CloudFormation).
• Lead feature development end-to-end: ideation, technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain robust DevOps processes and CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments and rapid iteration.
• Refactor and modernize legacy systems, supporting cloud migrations and adopting cloud-native architectures.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align engineering with business goals and user needs.
• Utilize analytics and user feedback to optimize product functionality and user experience.
• Mentor and support team members, sharing knowledge through code reviews and technical discussions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, product planning, and roadmap development.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
