About The Position
Ford Customer Service Division (FCSD) is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join a large global team of over 10 software engineers. This role focuses on developing applications that allow dealers worldwide to sell extended warranties for Ford vehicles, facilitate communication between dealers and Ford regarding coverage approval, and create new products to meet market demands. The team utilizes Google Cloud Platform, modern IDEs, a cloud-native tech stack, GenAI tools for code generation, advanced Quality of Service (QoS) metrics, and DevSecOps practices. There are significant opportunities for growth and learning from other senior engineers. The current project involves consolidating multiple prior approval systems into a single modern platform using a microfrontend design to distinguish different business types. Users of this system include dealers, assessing agents, and internal warranty administrators.
