Technology plays a huge role in how we simplify complexity, improve decision-making, and deliver great outcomes. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) to help shape the platforms and solutions that power our business. This newly created position will play a key role in designing, building, and delivering high-quality full stack solutions for Project Luma, one of Ando's key strategic initiatives. The project is focused on developing and rolling out intuitive, user-friendly portals that enhance how we connect and work with our broker partners. This is a true full stack role spanning both front-end and back-end development. However, to complement the strengths of our existing team, we'd be particularly interested in candidates who bring deeper front-end experience and expertise.
Requirements
- Significant experience as a Software Engineer or Full Stack Developer
- Strong Java development expertise
- Proven ability to deliver complex software solutions
- Experience with modern engineering environments that embrace collaboration, agile delivery, and continuous improvement
Nice To Haves
- Deeper front-end experience and expertise
- Experience with React and Spring Boot
- Transferable skills and a willingness to learn
- Experience in insurance or financial services
Responsibilities
- Working across modern front-end and back-end technologies including Java, React and Spring Boot
- Contributing to architecture and technical design decisions
- Reviewing code and supporting engineering best practices
- Mentoring and coaching other engineers
- Driving the responsible adoption of AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and delivery outcomes
