About The Position

Our client is looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Developer to take a key role in building, scaling, and optimizing modern web applications and platform services. This is a hands-on engineering role with strong technical ownership across the stack, paired with real influence over architecture, system design, and engineering standards. You will work closely with product, design, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance software that supports critical business operations and long-term platform growth.

Requirements

7+ years of experience in full-stack software development with production-grade systems
Strong experience with modern front-end frameworks (React, Svelte, Angular or TypeScript-heavy stacks)
Deep backend expertise using Node.js, Fastify or similar frameworks
Advanced knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL), including performance tuning and schema design
Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.)
Proven experience designing scalable distributed systems, including microservices and serverless architectures
Solid understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and containerization
Strong debugging, problem-solving and systems-thinking ability
Clear communication skills and ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice To Haves

Experience with observability tools, logging frameworks or performance monitoring systems
Exposure to fintech, high-volume transaction systems or regulated environments
Previous experience mentoring engineers or providing technical leadership across teams

Responsibilities

Lead the design and evolution of scalable web applications and backend services
Set and uphold engineering standards across code quality, architecture, and system design
Contribute to key architectural decisions across distributed systems and platform components
Act as a technical reference point for complex engineering challenges
Build and maintain modern full-stack applications using React, Svelte, and TypeScript on the front end
Develop robust backend services using Node.js and Fastify
Design and implement secure, well-structured APIs focused on performance and scalability
Apply microservices and serverless patterns where appropriate to improve maintainability and scale
Design, optimize, and maintain relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Lead schema design and query optimization efforts for performance-critical systems
Provide guidance on when and how to incorporate NoSQL solutions such as DynamoDB
Deploy and manage applications within AWS environments (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS and related services)
Drive CI/CD practices and support automation across build, test, and deployment pipelines
Work with containerization and infrastructure-as-code practices to improve reliability and repeatability
Contribute to cloud architecture decisions with a focus on scalability, resilience, and cost efficiency
Define testing strategies across unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, security gaps, and system inefficiencies
Strengthen observability through logging, monitoring, and alerting practices
Partner closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
Contribute to roadmap planning and technical prioritization discussions
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend practical adoption where relevant
Participate in an on-call rotation supporting production systems and uptime expectations
Lead incident response efforts, including root cause analysis and long-term remediation
Perform scheduled maintenance, upgrades, and operational improvements
Continuously improve monitoring and incident response processes in collaboration with operations teams
