About The Position

ADP is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Developer with 5+ years of experience to independently contribute to the design, development, deployment, and support of enterprise applications. The role develops and maintains web applications, REST APIs, and backend services, and builds responsive user interfaces. It supports internal and external clients and includes work on projects currently in production. The developer works within a scrum team and three-week sprints, participating in scrum calls and other agile ceremonies, selecting user stories, presenting work at sprint demos, and taking part in release activities every three weeks. Most of the day is spent developing and testing code, with responsibility for deployment and occasional client support for urgent production issues. The role also includes technical design discussions, code reviews, debugging, performance optimization, CI/CD pipeline maintenance, and integrating AI and Generative AI capabilities into business applications. The developer collaborates with cross-functional teams and may provide technical guidance and support to junior team members. The position is based in Roseland, New Jersey, with a hybrid schedule requiring three days onsite. Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
At least 5 years of hands-on software development experience.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, software development principles, and design patterns.
Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, Angular, React, and Oracle SQL.
Experience with Git, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD practices.
Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, and cloud-native application development.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Experience mentoring and managing teams.
Experience in front-end, scripting, and back-end technologies.

Nice To Haves

Experience with microservices architecture.
Knowledge of Azure OpenAI, ChatGPT APIs, or other AI platforms.
Experience working in cloud-native environments.
Familiarity with containerization and DevOps best practices.
Experience integrating third-party APIs and enterprise systems.
Experience with Oracle ERP.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain web applications.
Develop REST APIs and backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Node.js.
Build responsive user interfaces using Angular and React.
Develop and optimize database queries, procedures, and integrations using Oracle SQL.
Deploy and manage applications in AWS and Kubernetes environments.
