About The Position

This is a contractor role for a Senior Full Stack Programmer specializing in Angular and .NET, working with a client in the Investment Banking sector. The position is hybrid, requiring 4 days onsite in New York, NY, with a contract duration of 2 years. The role involves developing a platform for structured finance transactions, supporting IT strategies, delivering new features with architectural decisions, performing testing, and creating technical documentation. The programmer will demonstrate features to stakeholders, participate in Agile Scrum activities, and contribute to modernizing and revamping the platform by improving CI/CD practices, automating tasks, and refactoring the codebase. The role also includes participating in the design and integration of transversal platforms and providing management with visibility and decision-making indicators.

Requirements

  • University degree in Computer Science.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong ability to work with complex information systems.
  • Knowledge of market finance (equity markets, interest rates, derivatives).
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and methodical skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Strong proficiency in .NET.
  • Experience with Angular (Full Stack role).
  • Experience with databases: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with messaging technologies: IBM MQ, RabbitMQ.
  • Experience with workload automation tools (e.g., Autosys).
  • Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools: Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, XL Deploy, Artifactory.
  • Strong knowledge of design patterns.
  • Experience working in Agile Scrum environments.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

  • Handle the development of the platform for structured finance transactions initiated by Global Banking and Advisory (GLBA), including asset financing, cash flow financing, securitization, debt advisory, and corporate finance.
  • Support the orchestration of IS & Digital strategies and the delivery and maintenance of GLBA IT projects.
  • Develop and deliver new features, including design and architectural decisions.
  • Perform testing, track quality-related metrics, and produce technical documentation.
  • Demonstrate features to stakeholders and product owners to gain business understanding and gather feedback.
  • Participate in Agile Scrum activities: Daily stand-ups, Backlog grooming, Sprint retrospectives, Demos.
  • Contribute to the modernization and revamp of the platform: Improve CI/CD practices, Automate tasks.
  • Take ownership of new projects and contribute to fixing and refactoring the existing codebase.
  • Participate in the design, integration, and organization of transversal platforms and solutions.
  • Provide visibility to management and deliver indicators to support decision-making.
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and daily team activities.
