Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Backend focus)
About The Position
InoHealth AG (Ino) is an organization devoted to understanding the processes behind human aging and longevity. This is achieved by delivering ML/AI-powered tools that transform complex biomarker and physiological data into personalized insights for wellness-oriented preventive health and healthy aging. While conventional medicine often focuses on treating disease after it has manifested, Ino develops tools that help individuals better understand their health patterns and make proactive lifestyle decisions that support long-term wellbeing and healthy aging. Ino is a small international remote organisation, positioned in the heart of Europe. The organisation is currently in the start-up phase which is why we are now looking to further expand our vibrant team. As a key member of Ino's IT team, you will take ownership of end-to-end development across our platform, with a strong emphasis on delivering high-quality, user-centric experiences. Your responsibilities will span the full-stack, with a strong emphasis on backend systems and APIs. You will contribute to system design and architecture, shaping APIs, data models, and service boundaries. Implement and maintain backend services, PostgreSQL databases, and infrastructure. Work across the web layer by building and integrating frontend features, while helping improve performance and test coverage across our applications.
Requirements
- A valid EU work permit and professional proficiency in verbal and written English
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or relevant field
- Proactive, self-driven, capable of working independently and as part of a small team
- Comfortable taking the ownership of projects, from conceptualization to execution
- Strong communicator and collaborator - able to explain complex concepts clearly, present decisions effectively, and write code that’s readable and maintainable
- Significant professional experience in modern full-stack development (7+ years)
- Robust Node.js skills, with solid experience in relational databases, cloud engineering, and authentication systems
- Experience with modern development practices as well as unit/integration/E2E/load testing
- Strong in TypeScript with understanding of browser rendering pipelines
- Familiarity with our current tech stack; React, Next.js/Tanstack Start, PostgreSQL, Prisma, tRPC, GoogleCloud Platform, Auth0 by Okta, Playwright, Tailwind CS
