About The Position

This role is for a Senior Full Stack AI Engineer focused on building and integrating generative AI and machine learning capabilities into production software applications. The position blends frontend, backend, and data engineering responsibilities, with an emphasis on taking AI models-particularly LLMs-from concept through deployment in scalable systems. The engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design AI-enabled features, optimize model performance, and ensure seamless integration into user-facing products. This work supports a data-driven organization that delivers sustainable fuel and freight solutions, leveraging large-scale transportation datasets to improve cost efficiency, transparency, and environmental impact across supply chains.

Requirements

• Generative AI platforms (GPT-4, Gemini, Llama, Vertex AI)
• Model fine-tuning (pre-trained models, applied ML use cases)
• Python
• Machine Learning frameworks (TensorFlow, Scikit-learn)
• Full-stack development (ReactJS, Node.js)
• ETL / Data pipelines
• Data platforms (BigQuery, dbt, Apache Beam)
• Cloud infrastructure (GCP or similar)
• Containerization & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Infrastructure as code/workflow orchestration (Terraform, Airflow)
• SQL
• Performance optimization (AI/ML pipelines, inference latency)
• 2+ years' experience with Core AI Capability
• 5+ years as a software engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver AI/ML-enabled features that enhance product capabilities and user experience
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, data science, product) to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Contribute to architectural decisions around integrating AI technologies into existing systems
• Build and maintain scalable, production-ready software applications incorporating AI/ML components
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to model performance, system integration, and production behavior
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure the reliability of AI/ML and application components
• Continuously evaluate and incorporate emerging AI/ML technologies to drive innovation
• Propose and implement AI-driven solutions to solve business problems and improve operational efficiency
• Partner with senior engineers to refine development processes and best practices for AI/ML integration
• Share knowledge and mentor team members on AI/ML concepts and implementation approaches
