Senior Full Stack Developer
About The Position
We are seeking a full stack developer to design, build and support software solutions for Football Operations. This role primarily supports College Scouting, Pro Scouting, Coaching, Video and Football Administration departments to create applications and tools that assist decision-making and data communication. The ideal candidate should have an extensive software engineering background with experience developing web and mobile applications. This individual will help to support the legacy Football Operations custom system and play a primary role in developing the 3-5 year roadmap to deliver the next generation of football technology solutions. Success in this role requires strong technical ability and communication skills, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and the ability to collaborate with analysts, coaches and scouts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or related fields.
- Minimum of 5-years work experience in software development
- Prior experience developing user interfaces directed at statistical reporting
- Availability and willingness to support Football Operations outside of traditional business hours, including evenings weekends, training camp, pre-season, NFL draft and other key football events as needed
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects
- Strong team skills, time management and proficient verbal and written skills
- Ability to work independently without supervision, self-directed and demonstrates initiative
- Ability to work collaboratively with others
- Exhibit good judgment and decision-making skills
- Sensitivity to confidential information

- Familiarity with WinForms is a plus
Responsibilities
- Develop and support custom applications using the following languages: C#, Swift, SwiftUI and T-SQL. Familiarity with WinForms is a plus
- Develop modern web applications using contemporary frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, etc.). Experience building and maintaining mobile applications in iOS and Android
- Design rich user experiences that communicate football insights using data visualizations, dashboards and various reporting tools
- Optimize application performance, ensure scalability, reliability and security
- Familiarity with R and Python coding languages
- Architecting, designing, coding and debugging applications
- Software testing and quality assurance
- Support, maintain and document software functionality
- Unit testing
- Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation
