About The Position

Randstad is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join a high-impact team for a key client in Washington, DC. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance microservices and modern web applications using Java, Angular, and AWS cloud services. The developer will work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment and take end-to-end ownership of full-stack feature delivery, CI/CD pipelines, and application observability.

Requirements

• High proficiency in Angular and modern web technologies.
• Strong programming foundation in Java and Python.
• Extensive hands-on experience in Spring Boot microservice development and RESTful API design.
• Demonstrated experience with AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, and Amazon ECS.
• Practical knowledge of AWS API Gateway, SQS, SNS, VPC, EventBridge, and Secrets Manager.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, event-driven architectures, and messaging systems.
• Experience with GitHub, version control workflows, and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or other Adobe tools.
• Experience with GitHub Copilot.
• Experience with Ionic.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and deploy scalable microservices and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design and build responsive, user-friendly frontend interfaces using Angular.
• Build and maintain serverless and containerized cloud applications on AWS using Lambda, ECS, DynamoDB, and EventBridge.
• Configure and support AWS infrastructure and services, including API Gateway, SQS, SNS, VPC, and Secrets Manager.
• Implement event-driven architectures and messaging systems for asynchronous processing.
• Automate CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance and observability using Dynatrace and enterprise tooling.
• Use GitHub for version control and tools such as GitHub Copilot to enhance development efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and own full-stack feature delivery.
