About The Position

Peregrine Advisors is hiring a Senior Full Stack Developer to design and deliver cloud-native Python services on AWS, taking work from refinement through production. The position is based in the Washington, DC metropolitan area and follows a hybrid work arrangement, with commuting cadence varying by assignment. The initial engagement requires United States citizenship and the ability to obtain a Public Trust determination. The role involves integrating application components into a cohesive solution, developing Python services and React.js interfaces, building AWS workflows, and designing APIs, integrations, and data flows. The developer will help establish development standards, build CI/CD pipelines and automated tests, support production, and lead quality practices. Responsibilities also include making design decisions, resolving difficult production issues and technical tradeoffs, mentoring developers, using AI-assisted development tools responsibly, and contributing to estimates, planning, forecasting, and resource allocation. The successful candidate will own technical outcomes, set a strong example in delivery and secure development practices, communicate clearly with technical and business audiences, and help improve the developers around them. Assignments may evolve as business needs change, with opportunities to work across clients and functions. Peregrine supports employee development through onboarding, sponsored certifications and continuing education, and rotation across functions.
