Senior Frontend Developer (Contract) - Resi

AlayaCareVictoria, PE
CA$100,000 - CA$125,000Remote

About The Position

As a Senior Frontend Developer (Vue), you will play a key role in building the products that power better residential aged care in Australia, helping providers deliver safer, more connected care. You will join our Platform Engineering team and work closely with colleagues in Canada and Australia, partnering with Clinical, Finance, and Reporting teams to deliver high‑quality, accessible experiences in our AlayaCare Residential product. You will focus on migrating our Resi platform from AngularJS to Vue 3, improving performance, accessibility, and maintainability while contributing to shared component libraries and automated testing. You will work in a modern, AI‑first development environment with a contemporary frontend stack and a cloud‑native backend. If you are excited by solving complex UI challenges in a regulated, mission‑driven space, this role is for you. Our frontend stack is Vue 3 (3.5), TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), Vite, Pinia, PrimeVue, and Cypress, integrating with a backend built on C#, .NET, and MSSQL Server. We run Docker and Kubernetes on AWS, with Git and Azure DevOps in our pipeline, and use Jasper Report and DataDog for reporting and monitoring. This is a fully remote 12 month full-time contract position.

  • Curiosity to learn new technologies, keep up with industry trends, and use AI coding assistants or similar tools to accelerate high‑quality delivery.
  • Working knowledge of AI, having used AI tools in practice, and being able to demonstrate how AI has helped improve the quality, efficiency, or impact of your work.
  • Ability to adapt to new tools and ways of working and use AI responsibly in line with our privacy and security standards.
