About The Position

We invite a Frontend/Design Engineer to join our team and help shape the frontend experience across a large-scale data infrastructure platform for private markets. In this role, you’ll act as the bridge between design and engineering, taking ownership of a complex design system and frontend quality standards. You’ll also focus on improving team efficiency by identifying and resolving quality issues in frontend implementation. You will help shape and evolve the frontend experience across the platform, focusing on quality, consistency, and scalability.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with Angular
  • Experience building and scaling design systems and component libraries
  • Experience building design tokens, primitives, reusable components, and scalable CSS/SCSS architectures
  • Deep understanding of frontend architecture, consistency, and long-term maintainability
  • Product mindset with the ability to balance design, product, and engineering perspectives
  • Passion for engineering quality, pixel-perfect implementation, and polished user experiences
  • Experience driving frontend standards, best practices, and design system adoption
  • Ability to identify quality gaps and drive frontend process improvements
  • Strong ownership and ability to make independent frontend decisions
  • Experience working closely with designers and improving design-to-code workflows
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Storybook, Figma APIs, or design token automation tools
  • Experience using AI-powered development tools to improve productivity
  • Background in fintech, Web3, or complex enterprise SaaS platforms

Responsibilities

  • Own the core component library, global layouts, and CSS/SCSS architecture
  • Maintain and evolve the Angular-based design system, including components, tokens, and documentation
  • Drive frontend quality direction across the platform, ensuring consistency, scalability, and long-term maintainability
  • Identify quality gaps, prevent recurring issues, and drive frontend process improvements
  • Collaborate with designers to improve design-to-code workflows and speed up implementation
  • Partner with product engineers to build features, provide frontend guidance, and participate in design reviews
  • Independently drive frontend decisions while balancing engineering, product, and design perspectives
  • Mentor engineers on design system usage, frontend best practices, and UI quality consistency
