About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Freight Broker with a strong background in Third Party Logistics (3PL) and a proven track record in freight brokerage operations. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the OTR Logistics Market and have extensive experience in managing accounts from start to finish, including business development, rate negotiation, and RFP submission. This role requires an entrepreneurial spirit, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with industry-standard tools and systems.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Third Party Logistics (3PL)
• Strong understanding of freight brokerage operations and the OTR Logistics Market
• Proven ability to negotiate rates with shippers and carriers alike
• Experienced in creating and submitting RFPs, pricing freight lanes and taking ownership of business development
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset
• Experience with managing a load board via TMS systems, Carrier411, Truckstop, Macropoint, DAT and other industry tools

Nice To Haves

• Active/previously active, portable book of business
• Experience with Cradle to Grave style account management (Full-Cycle Logistics Sales)
