The Resource Industry CFO Team Business Support Manager is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst in Irving, TX – Corporate Headquarters.

Requirements

  • 4-year degree in accounting/finance OR any 4-year degree with an accounting certification (CPA/CMA).
  • Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
  • Financial Reporting: Knowledge of processes, methods, and tools of financial reporting; ability to create and maintain accurate and thorough financial reports
  • Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with OneStream, Hyperion, Essbase, SAP systems is a plus.
  • Experience with financial analysis and forecasting with Power BI experience.
  • Experience with consolidations.
  • Strong analytical, process improvement and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven record of strong initiative, leadership, accountability, high attention to detail and effective communication skills working with a global team.
  • Self-motivated and able to consistently deliver results under strict time constrains
  • Agility and interest to support various activities related to financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • The Senior FP&A Analyst will act as an advisor on accounting methodology and analysis issues to business unit accountants and will be capable of resolving issues independently.
  • This role requires a comprehensive understanding of various business functions and the ability to conduct complex and technical analysis using data gathered by others to provide accounting opinions or business decisions.
  • The incumbent will lead discussions with senior leaders on business results and financial analysis, demonstrating strong decision-making skills and accountability for outcomes.
