About The Position

Oliver Wyman is seeking a Senior Analyst to join its Americas Business FP&A team to own and shape financial support for the Industrials practices. This role will work at the intersection of finance, strategy, analytics, and business performance to support key decision-making that aligns with the firm’s strategy and goals.

Requirements

BA or BS degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Mathematics preferred
3-5 years’ experience in a consulting, financial, or highly analytical role
Superior analytical skills, attention to detail, and well-organized
Experience with forecasting, budgeting, and P&L analysis
Intellectual curiosity to seek new challenges and develop creative solutions to problems
Sharp communication skills with the ability to advise stakeholders at all levels of the firm
Effective management of competing priorities in a fast-changing, dynamic work environment
Expert proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Must be comfortable working with and manipulating large amounts of data in Excel using advanced formulas.
Strong PowerPoint skills to summarize and convey key findings
Previous experience using Tableau (or SQL, PowerBI, etc.) or a strong desire to develop these skills

Nice To Haves

Macro knowledge is a plus.
Proficiency with GPT/LLM tools in financial analysis and automation is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design, analyze, and present performance indicators to business and finance leaders
Partner with senior leaders to translate financial data into commercial action
Synthesize results to measure performance against annual goals and support practice forecasting
Drive forward core financial processes utilizing modern tools, including Tableau, ChatGPT and other LLM-based tools
Continuously enhance operational efficiency, data accuracy and reporting quality
