About The Position
The Senior Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE Lead) will apply software engineering and technical leadership experience to own production systems and large-scale delivery initiatives. The role involves building backend services, APIs, and scalable production systems, and working across architecture, data, and platform layers. It calls for a strong understanding of modern AI application patterns, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), semantic search, and agent-based systems. Experience in financial services or another regulated industry is a plus.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 14+ years of software engineering and technical leadership experience, including ownership of production systems and large-scale delivery initiatives.
- Strong understanding of modern AI application patterns, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), semantic search, and agent-based systems.
- Hands-on experience building backend services, APIs, and scalable production systems.
- Ability to operate across architecture, data, and platform layers.
Nice To Haves
- Advanced degree preferred.
- Experience working in financial services or other regulated industries is a plus.
