About The Position

The City of Berkeley invites applications for the position of Senior Forestry Supervisor in the Parks, Recreation and Waterfront Department. In this role, the incumbent will direct the City's forestry program, including oversight of program operations and personnel. The forestry program encompasses citywide tree planting, pruning, shaping, and removal.

Requirements

• Equivalent to completion of high school.
• Five (5) years of increasingly responsible journey-level experience.
• Two (2) years of supervisory experience equivalent to the City's Forestry Climber Supervisor classification.
• Possession of a valid class "B" California driver's license.
• Satisfactory driving record.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
