About The Position

Coach, drive and lead lean behaviors, principles and practices towards building a culture of continuous improvement. Lead process improvement projects with a goal of enhanced business performance of the business, reduce burden for employees, and outstanding customer impact. Drive lean transformation resulting in step change in business metrics by partnering with leaders. This role will help drive the GE Aerospace FLIGHT DECK operating model within Commercial Engines and Services. The ideal candidate will have transactional and business process lean experience preferred in the commercial area. A foundational knowledge of lean principals, approaches and methodology is required. Lead the deployment, coaching, and sustainment of the FLIGHT DECK lean operating model across CES and teams. Collaborate with multiple levels of the organization to progress the Lean culture and drive continuous improvement. Drive cross-functional engagement and communication of standards/solutions within the organizations. Utilize persuasion skills required to influence others and gain buy in to the process. Coach organization leaders to deploy Value Streams Management and establish and implement the use of Problem Solving, Daily Management and Kaizen to enable business and customer outcomes. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from accredited college/university
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience using and leading lean tools and processes
  • Must be able to travel 50%
  • Coaching/Leadership experience
  • This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience with Lean Transformations, Principal and Tools in a transactional environment (Problem Solving, Action Planning, Value Stream Analysis, Daily Management)
  • Experience in coaching, facilitating, practicing and applying lean methods
  • Demonstrate ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Problem Solver with an analytical mind; challenges existing processes and a critical thinker
