About The Position

The Senior Financial Systems Analyst is a technofunctional expert who bridges business users and IT for financial system setups. The role focuses on NetSuite, Stampli, Workiva, and other financial systems, and is responsible for documenting enhancements and controls across key systems. It leads application enhancements from requirements through deployment, configures standard system customizations, supports multi-entity consolidation, and works with stakeholders across Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, and other functions. The position owns IT general controls and related SDLC documentation, supports audit activities, and monitors integrations for complete and accurate financial data. It maps financial processes, identifies opportunities for workflow and integration automation, designs controlled approval chains, and explores AI-driven process improvements. The analyst also owns test scripts and UAT coordination, governs financial master data, and leads initiatives with internal teams and third-party vendors. The position is based in Charlotte, North Carolina, and reports to the Senior NetSuite Product Manager.

Requirements

At least 5 years of hands-on NetSuite business analysis or ERP experience.
Functional expertise across Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Record-to-Report (R2R) cycles.
Demonstrated experience authoring BRDs, IDDs, and FSDs.
Working knowledge of ITGCs and application controls in an integrated ERP environment.
Proficiency with NetSuite workflow automation, saved searches, reports, dashboards, custom fields, and forms.
Strong understanding of Segregation of Duties (SoD) principles and access-control governance.
Ability to perform standard NetSuite system configurations independently, without developer dependency.
Successful completion of a background check is a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end enhancement lifecycle for multiple applications, including requirements, design, build, testing, and deployment.
Configure roles, permissions, custom forms, workflows, and scripts.
Manage NetSuite subsidiary, location, and entity structures to support multi-entity consolidation.
Document business requirements from Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, and other stakeholders, and standardize requirements for development teams and external partners.
Translate functional needs into configuration specifications, including saved searches, workflows, custom fields, and custom records.
Own and maintain ITGCs, including access, change management, and operations controls across financial systems.
Enforce SDLC documentation requirements for development and automation efforts; assess production-change risks and archive BRDs, FSDs, and UAT evidence.
Maintain the Segregation of Duties matrix and review access conflicts quarterly.
Serve as the technical contact for internal and external auditors and resolve audit findings.
Monitor system integrations to ensure financial data is complete, accurate, and not lost.
Build end-to-end process maps for O2C, P2P, R2R, and other business cycles.
Identify manual tasks and drive automation through workflows and third-party integrations.
Design automated approval chains with appropriate SoD controls.
Identify AI-driven capabilities that can streamline financial and accounting system processes.
Design and maintain the test script library for NetSuite configurations and customizations.
Coordinate UAT with business process owners and document sign-off; ensure defects are tracked, retested, and approved in accordance with SDLC requirements.
Identify sources of truth for master data and govern locations, subsidiaries, entities, chart of accounts, and vendors.
Maintain data integrity across systems and downstream integrations, including BI and payroll.
Define and enforce organizational naming conventions and data-entry standards.
Lead and facilitate initiatives with third-party support vendors, internal stakeholders, and delivery teams.
