This senior individual-contributor role administers, configures, enhances, and supports Workday Financials and related finance technology solutions. It partners with Finance and Accounting stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable system solutions, strengthen controls, improve reporting, and increase process efficiency. The role reports to the Director of Financial Systems and provides hands-on functional and technical leadership across financial accounting and reporting, accounts receivable, revenue, supplier accounts, procurement, business assets, expenses, cash and banking, and financial planning and analysis. The position manages Workday business processes and security, reporting, integration support, release impact assessment, ServiceNow requests, audit support, and end-user guidance. It independently leads complex troubleshooting, root cause analysis, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement; coordinates work with Finance, Accounting, IT, auditors, and third-party partners; and supports special projects and the financial systems roadmap. There are no direct reports, but the role provides subject-matter expertise, influences decisions, and mentors less-experienced team members. The role is remote and involves 1–20% travel within the United States. Work includes prolonged periods in a stationary position, operating computer programs and software, communicating with others, managing changing priorities and deadlines, making independent decisions, and collaborating in close quarters with peers amid interruptions. The physical demands are sedentary, including exerting up to 10 pounds occasionally and negligible force frequently or constantly.
