About The Position

As a Senior Financial System Analyst for the Reporting, Analytics & Insights (RAI) COE in Global Finance at Medtronic, you will contribute to the world’s largest medical device company. This dynamic role within a multicultural environment fosters career growth and is critical to driving operational excellence across financial operations. You will work closely with business stakeholders and data teams to understand business requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and deliver high-quality, insightful reports, tools, and dashboards. Your work will empower leadership and teams across various functions with actionable data insights to drive performance and strategic initiatives. The role requires a minimum of 4 days a week onsite to foster professional growth and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree plus 4+ years of Finance, Accounting or Business Analytics experience.
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

  • Expertise in leveraging systems and data for insightful analysis.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills; adept at multitasking and adapting to shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Partner with finance analysts, data engineers, and business users to gather requirements, validate output, and ensure the solutions meet business objectives.
  • Drive efficiency/improvement of related finance processes in support of the organization.
  • Continuous reflection on team processes to identify opportunities for improvement of business partnering impact and time efficiencies in personal and team finance support.
  • Ad hoc analysis and reporting to leadership, business partners and key stakeholders.
