About The Position
This role involves maintaining and developing packages for data extraction into constructed layouts, supporting complicated applications like the Budget System, and assisting state employees with .Net solutions and best practices. The position also requires maintaining and optimizing central infrastructure, application instances, and databases, providing problem resolution and analysis, designing and testing disaster recovery plans, developing window and web services, and writing/reviewing VB.Net code. Additionally, the role includes developing detailed technical infrastructure diagrams and specifications.
Requirements
- Minimum of six (6) years of SQL Server installation, maintenance, and optimization experience
- Good knowledge of MSDTC
- Experience with design and maintenance of TDE Encryption
- Experience using integration services or SSIS packages to import and export data to/from SQL
- Experience developing window services
- Experience developing web services
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other equivalent education
