About The Position
CGI is seeking a Senior Financial Data Analyst with prior experience supporting environments and strong knowledge of financial data analysis. This role will work with complex financial datasets and business requirements, with an emphasis on capital related reporting and analysis. This position has an onsite expectation of 3–5 days per week in Reston, VA, with local candidates preferred.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Data Analyst
- Strong SQL skills, including querying and analyzing complex datasets.
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience working with financial services data and business requirements.
- Ability to interpret financial and accounting data and translate findings into actionable business insights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of derivatives and hedge accounting.
- Familiarity with Basel regulatory capital requirements and the Enterprise Regulatory Capital Framework (ERCF).
- Experience in a large scale, regulated financial services environment is beneficial.
