About The Position

Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team. This role involves maintaining financial, billing, and statistical databases, decision support systems, and related systems supporting budgeting, financial analysis, and reimbursement. The analyst will participate in providing effective service to all levels of management and prepare accurate financial information for timely distribution. The position also involves participating in financial analysis, operations reporting, and information technology software implementation and support.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Information Management.
5 years experience concentrating in reimbursement, budgeting, financial analysis, or financial reporting.
5 years experience in Finance and/or data analysis in a medical group environment.
Knowledge of IDX Physician Billing, IDX Analyzer, and electronic medical record systems.
Knowledge of MSAccess, SQL, or Oracle database administration.
Knowledge of physician payment methodologies.
Proficiency in the use of personal computers operated in a Windows environment and ability to use various mainframe and PC-based software applications.

Nice To Haves

Master’s Degree In Business Administration.
Proficiency in Excel.
CPA - Certified Public Accountant - State of Pennsylvania

Responsibilities

Prepares accurate and complete financial information for timely distribution to internal and external users.
Participates in the accurate, timely, and understandable completion of financial analysis, operations reporting, information technology software implementation and support, and other areas as appropriate.
