About The Position

The Senior Financial Analyst is a core member of a tight-knit FP&A team, reporting to the Associate Manager, FP&A with direct exposure to the VP of FP&A and CFO on board materials, operating reviews, and strategic planning. This role will own a high-impact territory across COGS, Product & Engineering, Facilities, IT, & Information Security — leading budgeting and forecasting cycles, owning monthly variance analysis, and identifying process improvements that scale with the company. Requirements

  • A BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or STEM field
  • 5+ years in FP&A, accounting, or a similarly analytical finance role
  • Advanced Excel and strong financial modelling skills

Nice To Haves

  • SaaS, software, and/or PE-backed environments experience
  • experience with NetSuite, Planful, or similar planning / ERP tools is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Drive the financial story behind a high-impact FP&A territory — including COGS, Product & Engineering, IT, Information Security, & Facilities — owning budgeting, forecasting, and monthly analysis end-to-end
  • Sit at the table with business leaders, translating their priorities into financial plans and pushing back where the numbers tell a different story
  • Build the models that drive real decisions — driver-based forecasts, scenario analysis, ROI cases, and resource plans that shape where the company invests next
  • Turn variance into action — connect actuals vs. budget into clear recommendations that change how the business operates, not just how it reports
  • Move at the speed of the business during forecast, budget, and close cycles — Planful, NetSuite, and Excel are your toolkit for delivering answers with pace, urgency, and accuracy
  • Get in front of senior leadership — author the financial narratives, risk/opportunity callouts, and operating review materials that the CFO and FP&A leadership take into board and executive forums
  • Own CapEx strategy for R&D and technology investments — project-level analysis, forecast updates, and the cross-functional alignment that keeps spend tied to outcomes
  • Upgrade the FP&A function itself — sharpen models, modernize reporting tools, and bring structure to a fast-moving environment where your improvements stick
