This role partners closely with Finance leadership, Corporate functions (IT, HR, Compliance, Procurement), and operational leaders to deliver accurate forecasts, actionable insights, and disciplined financial execution. The role will work on multiple projects at a time, discovering creative ways to take on big picture challenges. This candidate will also be responsible for working with senior leadership across the organization to develop strategic plans for company growth based on in-depth financial analyses. The ideal candidate brings deep hands‑on experience with Workday Adaptive Planning , demonstrates strong ownership of forecasts and variance analysis, and is comfortable operating in fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environments requiring cross‑functional collaboration and judgment. JOB REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field is required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field is required.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related analytical roles.
  • 3+ years of hands‑on Workday Adaptive Planning experience, including back-end support, forecasting, model management, and Office Connect is required.
  • 1+ of experience with building in Power BI (preferred).
  • 1+ year of experience in Workday ERP (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of Adaptive Insights (Workday Planning), including ongoing maintenance, model building, integrations, formulas, and Office Connect.
  • Strong understanding of corporate financial planning, financial reporting, and variance analysis
  • Proven ability to partner cross‑functionally and communicate effectively with both finance and non‑finance stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with attention to details.
  • Ability to adapt to and lead changes in a business environment is also critical.
  • Advanced Excel skills; strong comfort working with large, complex financial models.
  • Experience working with BI tools (Power BI preferred) and translating data into business insights.
  • The ability to successfully manage multiple initiates/projects in a deadline-driven environment

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry (preferred).
  • Workday/Adaptive Insights or Power BI certifications a plus.
  • CPA or CFA a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Become internal admin for Adaptive Insights, responsible for ongoing maintenance, new model build/rebuild requests, integrations, formulas, and advanced understanding of Office Connect.
  • Own and maintain rolling forecasts (e.g., 10+2, 11+1, 4+8) within Workday Adaptive Planning, ensuring timely and accurate updates across revenue, labor, medical, vendor, and corporate cost categories.
  • Works collaboratively with senior leadership and service line leaders to track and forecast trends in the business and their impact on the financial statements, managing enterprise’s forecasts within Workday Adaptive Planning
  • Provides timely and accurate financial and operating metrics in support of company’s regular financial results meetings, sponsor meetings and operational reviews.
  • Support annual budget cycles, including detailed modeling, version control, and coordination with multiple functional owners, owning all Workday Adaptive Planning aspects of budget process.
  • Act as a finance partner to Corporate teams (IT, HR, Risk, Strategy), supporting cost management, vendor spend reviews, variance analysis, and project tracking.
  • Ensure alignment between Adaptive Planning, Power BI, and source systems by identifying data discrepancies, investigating root causes, and driving clean‑up actions.
  • Serve as a trusted finance point‑of-contact for leaders, clearly communicating assumptions, risks, and implications of financial decisions
  • Ensures that all activities performed align with the vision of Elara Caring’s board of directors, executive team, and the leadership of the Finance team.
  • Develops a working knowledge of Elara financial and accounting systems (Workday).
  • Facilitates the preparation and review of any ad-hoc reports as needed to identify and solve critical, time sensitive business issues.
  • Promotes Elara Caring’s philosophy, mission statement and administrative policies to ensure quality of care.
  • Maintains patient and staff privacy and confidentiality pursuant to HIPAA Privacy Final Rule.
  • Performs other duties/projects as assigned.
