About The Position

Support delivery of reporting packages including variance versus budget and prior year for: Revenue and Gross Margin Analysis (Product mix and its effect on margin rates, Product costs and royalties, and Warehousing and freight costs), departmental budgets for operating expenses, Headcount, and Capital expenditure and depreciation. Analyze any discrepancies between reporting systems. Create and manage financial models for one, three, and five-year forecasts. Assist the Finance Manager in operating expense meetings with department leaders. Assist Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, Controller, and Accounting Staff with monthly close process. Conduct accounting accrual calculations. Support recording of month end journal entries. Subject monthly operating expense budget to actuals variance review. Assist in audit requests and reviews.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • One (1) year of experience in the job offered or related occupation
  • Experience with basic accounting principles
  • Experience with Excel financial modeling
  • Experience with corporate finance, operations finance, and corporate budgeting
  • Experience with accounting for Consumer Packaged Goods
  • Experience with Oracle ERP system
  • Experience with Domo, Tableau, or Power BI
