About The Position

Capital One is seeking a motivated professional for a Senior Associate position on the Commercial FP&A team. In this role, you will work as part of a highly collaborative finance team supporting Corporate Banking. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will step into a highly autonomous role. Your responsibilities include full P&L ownership, such as managing financial reporting and analysis for budget, forecasting, and variance analysis across balance sheets, revenue, expenses, and headcount. In addition to providing accurate financial reporting, you will be expected to deliver actionable insights to business partners and evaluate Commercial FP&A processes to streamline and standardize workflows, thereby delivering efficiencies for the larger team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
• At least 2 years’ experience in financial analysis
• At least 2 years’ experience with financial modeling

Nice To Haves

• Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Master’s Degree in Finance
• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) license or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
• 3+ years’ experience in financial analysis
• 3+ years’ experience with financial modeling
• 1+ years’ experience in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
