About The Position

The Senior Financial Analyst role involves gathering and analyzing data from various sources to ensure data integrity and provide accurate insights. This position serves as a key resource for assigned clients, analyzing industry trends, preparing cost analyses, and defining data definitions. The analyst will prepare reports with charts and graphs, make recommendations based on findings, and participate in departmental projects. The role requires independent problem-solving for complex situations and developing approaches to solutions, with technical guidance available for challenging issues. While not having hiring/firing authority, the role may involve overseeing project completion and contributing to employee development.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
2-4 years of experience in a Financial Analyst, Revenue Operations Analyst, Business Analytics Analytics, or Pricing and Analytics Analyst role — preferably in a B2B or product-based setting.
Strong SQL and data visualization skills.
Experience with Excel, Powerpoint, and Word.
Experience with Enterprise Resource Platforms such as SAP or Oracle.

Nice To Haves

Snowflake and Tableau experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Serves as a resource to assigned client in area of expertise.
Gathers and compiles raw data, conducts research for industry trends and benchmarks, and normalizes data to be incorporated into a centralized data format.
Analyzes, reports, and makes comparisons to industry/company benchmarks. Determines trends and prepares cost analyses.
Defines data definitions and documents data limitations.
Prepares spreadsheets for data analysis.
Prepares reports with charts and graphs, mailing lists, maps and ad hoc requests.
May accompany Manager to meetings to assist with presentations.
Provides recommendations based on findings and analysis.
Provides input on policies and procedures.
Participates in department and interdepartmental projects.
Performs other duties as assigned.
