The Senior Financial Analsyst an integral part of the finance team at of HW Lochner, an Egis Company. Regularly interfacing with key stakeholders including the VP of Finance, Controller, Office Managers, and CFO/COO. This role will support the operations of the business by providing financial knowledge & leadership as well as supporting financial forecasting & analytics. The ideal candidate will have deep business acumen with proven experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and highly collaborative business environment.

Requirements

  • Degreed professional with direct experience working within operations bringing a “strategic” orientation to their work.
  • 5+ years of experience with the A/E/C industry.
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative business environment both leading and supporting company initiatives.
  • Strong financial systems experience; ERP upgrades and financial forecasting experience necessary.

  • Preference given to candidates working within a people-based professional service business.

Responsibilities

  • Support the operational financial reporting function including both weekly flash reporting and period-end performance results.
  • Support the annual business, capital, and strategic planning process.
  • Support the stewardship & improvement of the financial forecasting system & process.
  • Support corporate functions (Business Development, HR, IT, etc.) with analytics & business intelligence support as needed.
  • Support the strategic growth initiatives of the firm, including post-merger integration of acquired companies.
  • Lead or support special initiatives as defined by the VP of Finance.
  • Support the annual survey (i.e. ENR surveys) and client qualification procedures.
  • Support Accounting with year-end audit activities.
  • Ad hoc projects as defined by the VP of Finance and/or the COO/CFO.
