About The Position

This role sits at the intersection of finance and technology, supporting the organization’s reporting, analytics, and planning needs. Under general guidance, the analyst collects, integrates, and models data from multiple systems to deliver actionable financial insights, forecasts, and strategic recommendations. This role plays a key part in modernizing finance capabilities through automation, advanced analytics, and data visualization. Perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with standard operating procedures and other applicable Federal, State, and local regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in finance, analytics, or related field with demonstrated experience in data analytics, automation, or business intelligence.
• Advanced Excel proficiency (complex modeling, Power Query, and macro/VBA automation).
• Experience with Power BI (required or strongly preferred) for dashboard development, data modeling, and storytelling for non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Python (preferred) for data manipulation, and scripting for automation.
• Working knowledge of SQL, and familiarity with data warehouses, or enterprise data platforms.
• Experience working with large, complex datasets and financial systems (Oracle, Hyperion, SAP, etc.).
• Ability to bridge finance and technology, translating business problems into analytical solutions.

• Exposure to data modeling, forecasting tools, or predictive analytics
• Familiarity with AI-assisted workflows or automation tools (Copilot, forecasting models, etc.)
• Combination of candidate’s education and general experience satisfies requirements so long as the total years equate to description’s minimum education and general experience years combined (Management experience cannot be substituted).

Responsibilities

• Conduct and document moderate to highly complex financial and data analyses.
• Develop advanced financial models, forecasting tools, and automated reporting solutions.
• Design and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations (Power BI preferred) to support leadership decision-making.
• Leverage Python (or similar tools) for data manipulation, automation, and scalability of recurring processes.
• Translate business needs into technology-enabled solutions, improving efficiency and data accessibility across Finance.
• Integrate and analyze large datasets across systems (e.g., Oracle, Hyperion, data warehouses).
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through data-driven insights and predictive analytics.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and long-range planning processes.
• Conduct cost-benefit, scenario, and sensitivity analyses to inform strategic initiatives.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, strengthen data governance, and align financial outputs with organizational priorities.
• May lead projects or provide guidance to other analysts on technical and analytical approaches.
