About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, Procurement Finance to support material price variance (MPV) management across our metals, glass, and components categories. This role partners closely with Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain, and FP&A teams to provide pricing guidance, assess risks and opportunities, and translate complex market dynamics into clear financial insights that impact the P&L. This position is ideal for a highly analytical finance professional who enjoys working at the intersection of cost analytics, sourcing strategy, and executive decision support. You will play a key role in shaping cost strategy for critical direct materials while delivering both recurring financial insights and project-based improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, decision support, or cost-focused finance roles.
  • Strong experience analyzing large datasets and building structured variance and scenario models.
  • Advanced Excel skills required.
  • Working knowledge of SAP required.
  • Proven ability to translate complex cost drivers into clear, actionable insights.
  • Strong business-partnering skills with the ability to influence across Procurement, Supply Chain, and Finance.
  • Comfortable presenting risks, assumptions, and recommendations to senior leadership.

Nice To Haves

  • experience with Power BI or other visualization tools strongly preferred.
  • experience with planning or reporting tools (e.g., Hyperion) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead analysis, reporting, and interpretation of material price variance (MPV) for metals, glass, and component categories.
  • Build and maintain variance bridges and models explaining price, mix, and volume drivers and their impact to the P&L.
  • Partner with Procurement and Strategic Sourcing teams to understand supplier pricing mechanisms, index-based adjustments, surcharges, and contract structures.
  • Translate commodity and component market trends into financial risk and opportunity assessments.
  • Provide pricing guidance and scenario modeling to support sourcing strategies, RFQs, supplier negotiations, and contract renewals.
  • Quantify financial risks and opportunities associated with commodity volatility, supplier changes, and sourcing decisions.
  • Support and validate productivity and cost-savings initiatives, ensuring benefits are accurately calculated, tracked, and reported.
  • Deliver clear, executive-ready commentary on cost performance, outlook assumptions, and emerging risks.
  • Enhance financial tools, reporting, and dashboards (e.g., Power BI) to improve visibility, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Leverage and develop AI-enabled models and analytics to automate variance analysis, identify cost drivers, forecast material price impacts, and surface risks and opportunities more proactively.
  • Collaborate with Brand Finance, Supply Chain Finance, and FP&A to ensure alignment on forecasts, standards, and assumptions.
