This job performs financial and business related research and analysis such as the preparation of forecasts and/or analysis of financial reports, records and trends. It involves developing and maintaining spreadsheets and databases to facilitate analysis and reporting, and is responsible for conducting and documenting financial analysis projects. The role requires effective communication with other departments, management, subsidiaries, affiliates, and third parties to resolve problems, advise on expected outcomes, and present analysis of financial results and trends. Key functions include analyzing, evaluating, and interpreting financial and statistical data, developing business policies, conducting special financial studies, and providing reasoning for variances with recommendations. The analyst will independently pursue problem-solving, document recommendations, and serve as a project lead for special departmental projects, coordinating activities to ensure timely completion and making recommendations based on findings.
