About The Position

Maintain and analyze the general ledger and monthly activities from divisions and acquisitions into Oracle ERP system (including financial reporting software Oracle Hyperion). Participate in the month-end close process, including responsibility for revenue reporting on Day 1 of the close, along with review of journal entries and the P&L. Research, identify, and communicate key variances relating to financial and operational metrics. Assist in integrating M&A deals into the existing operations, including tracking of earnout calculations. Improve upon existing reporting as requested by management. Provide ad-hoc financial and operational analysis to support business decisions. Contribute to preparation of business presentations for Executive management. High degree of involvement in annual budget process. Review and maintain producer compensation reporting. Assist Finance management with day to day tasks and special requests.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting & Finance preferred
  • Highly proficient MS Excel skills
  • Strong ability to learn systems
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and willingness to work overtime, particularly during the month-end close and budget process
  • Proactive drive to get things done and anticipate what is needed
  • At least 3 years of experience preferred
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience
