Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant FP&A experience, ideally in Corporate Finance, G&A support, or a broader FP&A role, with a track record of increasing scope and responsibility.
  • “Act like an owner” mindset with end-to-end accountability, proactivity, independence, and comfort in a high-autonomy environment.
  • Deep understanding of core FP&A processes, including month-end close, reporting, variance analysis, forecasting, annual planning, financial storytelling, and relevant technical accounting principles.
  • Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills, including experience with consolidation and operational models.
  • Strong business partnership skills, with excellent communication, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to interface with senior leaders with ease.
  • AI, automation, and process-improvement mindset.
  • Familiarity using FP&A systems such as Pigment, Adaptive, Anaplan, or similar tools to build scalable and efficient workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Lead company-wide financial planning, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Deliver strategic insights to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Align financial goals with business objectives to support informed decision-making at the senior leadership and executive levels.
  • Provide end-to-end accountability, proactivity, and independence in a high-autonomy environment.
  • Perform month-end close, reporting, variance analysis, forecasting, and annual planning.
  • Engage in financial storytelling.
  • Conduct advanced financial modeling and analysis, including consolidation and operational models.
  • Partner with business leaders, collaborating cross-functionally.
  • Interface with senior leaders.
  • Utilize FP&A systems such as Pigment, Adaptive, Anaplan, or similar tools to build scalable and efficient workflows.
  • Help shape how FP&A uses Pigment at Plaid, learning to build in the system and partnering with the systems lead on new cases, board design, and workflows.
