About The Position

Live Nation Entertainment is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for the Corporate Accounting team to assist in providing finance/accounting support to Live Nation’s Global IT/Technology team and the Corporate Division. This role has a strong emphasis on supporting operational processes, including forecasting, budgeting, financial reporting and participation in finance system transitions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required
  • 5+ years related work experience - previous corporate accounting experience and growth in career preferred
  • MS Excel power user
  • Experience with data tools such as Power Query, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organization skills

Nice To Haves

  • Oracle experience a plus
  • OneStream experience a plus
  • CPA, CPA eligibility, or FPAC a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist with annual budget preparation including, but not limited to: Oversee updates to the budget model, capturing headcount movements, contractor costs, software license spend, capital project labor, and other key fixed costs.
  • Cost allocations accounting for direct/indirect costs and historical variance analysis
  • Collaborate with department leadership to prepare various budget presentations.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for finance support. Includes, but not limited to: Lead the monthly forecast cycle, including consolidations, variance drivers, and risk/opportunity assessments.
  • Serve as a strategic finance partner to department leaders: Lead status meetings to review financial performance, staffing, capital projects, etc.
  • Translate financial insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Coordinate updates with the accounting team for month end accruals and forecast changes.
  • Maintain and enhance financial planning models to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain and analyze headcount data including staffing changes, open positions, and external labor.
  • Track and provide finance support for various capital initiatives, vendor contracts, software licenses, and consultant agreements.
  • Support the IT/Technology finance support team. Includes, but not limited to: Backup preparer/reviewer for various monthly JE’s and support schedules.
  • Includes capitalized labor analysis for project allocations/accruals and intercompany recharges.
  • Backup to the Purchase Order process
  • Backup to the Manager and other team members
  • Other duties as assigned by management
