About The Position

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a high-performing Senior Financial Analyst to join a leading Capital Markets brokerage team in Greater Los Angeles. The team specializes in complex, high-profile transactions including value-add, redevelopment, and ground-up development opportunities across office, industrial, multifamily, hospitality, and alternative assets. This role sits at the center of deal execution—partnering directly with senior brokers and clients to drive underwriting, valuation strategy, and transaction marketing. The position offers significant exposure to institutional-quality assignments and a path for advancement within a top-tier brokerage platform.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Finance, Accounting or Economics preferred)
  • 3 or more years of commercial real estate experience, preferably in capital markets, investments sales, or advisory
  • Strong background in financial modeling, including ARGUS Enterprise and Excel-based DCF analysis
  • Experience underwriting multiple asset classes (office, multifamily, industrial preferred)
  • California Real Estate Salesperson’s License, or ability to obtain one within six months of employment

Responsibilities

  • Lead detailed financial modeling and valuation analysis using ARGUS Enterprise and Excel for a variety of asset types
  • Build and audit complex discounted cash flow (DCF) models, including development and redevelopment scenarios
  • Analyze rent rolls, operating statements, lease abstracts, and market assumptions to inform underwriting
  • Translate underwriting into actionable pricing guidance and investment narratives
  • Prepare Broker Opinion of Value (BOV) materials and pricing recommendations
  • Develop institutional-quality Offering Memorandums and marketing materials
  • Synthesize complex financial data into clear, compelling investment theses
  • Support end-to-end transaction processes, including due diligence, buyer underwriting support, and escrow coordination
  • Manage data rooms, process timelines, and execution checklists
  • Interface with clients, investors, and internal stakeholders throughout the deal lifecycle
  • Conduct in-depth market research, including comparable sales, leasing data, and capital markets trends
  • Track investor activity and underwriting trends across product types
  • Provide strategic insight to inform positioning and marketing of assets
